Ms. Jamese Collins-Knight
Jamese Collins-Knight, the Director of Amazing Explorers Academy in Franklin, Tennessee, hails from Colorado. She has been happily married for 4 years and has a blended family of five children, ranging from 21 to 2 years old. Jamese began her journey in education in 1998 at the University of Northern Colorado. Over the past 30 years, she has worked with children of all ages, from infants to high school students, and those with special needs, always returning to her passion for Early Childhood Education.
Starting as an after-school teaching assistant, she advanced through various roles, including full-time classroom teacher, 3rd in charge, assistant director, and now director. Jamese has been instrumental in opening new schools and helping struggling schools grow, cherishing every step of her career.
After relocating to Tennessee with her family in August 2023, Jamese embraced the opportunity to expand her Early Childhood Education expertise by becoming a director in the Amazing Explorers Academy Franklin. She sees teaching and shaping young minds as her true calling and is deeply passionate about early education.
